“ Incredible food! They have a huge menu of more than 200 different authentic Chinese dishes. Every single dish has its unique flavor. It was so delicious! Big portion with really affordable price. It's a type of restaurant that I will crave for an entire week. I cannot wait to go back to try it again! ”
“ When the first thing the waiter (is that the owners wife?) says when you enter the restaurant is “45 minute wait for the dishes” despite a half empty restaurant, you better believe she means 45 minutes. The food comes so slow (it’s a wok restaurant! If ingredients stay in a wok for more than a minute they burn!) that I’m convinced the owner walks over to Asian family mart and buys groceries to order. Anyway enough joking around, I’m sure just mise en place the entire order before rapidly firing them one after another on the wok, because once one dish arrives, the rest of them follow very quickly, such that the 45-hr wait doesn’t actually feel that long. The food is cheap, delicious, generously portioned, and hits me with nostalgia to eating Chinese family meals despite me growing up in Canada. I don’t think you can go wrong with any menu item - the mapo tofu was soft and saucy, the saliva chicken succulent, the eggplant sweet and tender - everything is boldly flavored and pairs excellently with rice. After tax and tip, the five of us spent 20 with leftovers to spare. If you got time to spare or money to save - little garden is an amazing place. ”
“ Delicious food at an affordable price. Excellent food safety rating, so you can rest easy if your immune system isn't what it used to be. The entrees are pretty huge, so a couple of those along with a bowl of rice will get you far with a group of several people. ”
“ Large portion of braised chicken with potatoes, only 20 after tax! The taste is good, like authentic Northern Chinese home cooked comforting food. During meal times, the wait can be quite long. I recommend ordering 1-2 hours in advance by phone and pickup. Better avoid dining in, it takes at least 30 minutes to get the food ”
“ The service and the food was great. It was the first time we visited Little Garden. We arrived at 5pm when they opened, on a Monday. We had a party of 8 and were the first party there. I liked that they had two large round tables for larger parties. The food did take awhile to start coming out as other reviews mentioned, about 40 minutes. I also read that others didn't receive good service and the servers'attitudes were bad. We didn't experience that. They were very nice and helpful and filled our water glasses frequently. You can't beat the value of the food. We had eight dishes and the total was only 123. We will definitely be coming back ”
“ With pricing going up on everything , trying to get a good quality food for a normal price is a rare thing! Little garden does just that , they saved on remodeling the restaurant, they saved on hiring more staff , they saved on have turn on the heater in the winter so they can provide you with good tasting food at a very decent price! “ I wanted to give one star so people won’t come to my favorite place. This is one of the best kept secrets. Amazing food at a price that we used to pay 10 years ago. I totally get what people complain about the service but it is all about the expectation. If you ask the server what the wait is they will tell you. Your order will take an hour because we have tons of to go orders for example. If you are in a rush, go to other places. I find this place to be super friendly. Oh don’t forget to buy the frozen dumplings. Can you believe it is only 10 for 2 lbs???? I love this place and always tip very generously as their dishes are very reasonably priced. ”
